Presbyterian Woman (PW)

Presbyterian Women (PW) is an organisation for women within the Presbyterian Church in Ireland (PCI).

There have been women’s organisations within PCI for over 130 years.

PW in First Ahoghill meet in the Slemish Suite on the second Monday of each month at 8 pm, from September to March, and we warmly welcome ladies of all ages in the congregation to join with us for fellowship and friendship.  We offer a varied programme and if you do not already come, then it would be great if you would consider joining us some evening.

You will be under no obligation to attend every meeting, but it is a great place to make new friends and get to know others in the congregation.

We will endeavour to encourage each other to be Godly witnesses and shine for Jesus in an increasingly dark, godless society.

Beauty of Music
Enjoy an evening of worship to God with a variety of musical talent.

Monday 8th October
Beauty in Chocolate
Chocolatier Stuart Elliot will tell of his walk with God and his journey with his chocolate business.

Monday 12th November
Beauty in Clothing
A number of ladies will demonstrate and discuss their love of clothes. Based on Proverbs 31:25 “Strength & dignity are her clothing”

Monday 10th December
Beautiful Homes
Come and glean some festive ideas for your home this Christmas with florist Matthew Neilly.

Monday 14th January
Beautiful Marriage
Join Catherine and Philip Campbell and listen to the stories of some of our own gals as we look at the gift of marriage.

Monday 11th February
Beauty in Creation
Discover the beauty of God’s handiwork as Phillip McCartney talks about his work with NASA and his journey with God.

Monday 11th March
Beauty in Food
The big get-together with food and laughter! Venue tbc.
