Bible journaling group

We are a group who meet together to spend time in the Word through Bible Journaling. Coming from a variety of ages and abilities we use all sorts of mediums from paints to pens, stickers to scrapbook supplies to illustrate our faith. It doesn’t matter whether you would consider yourself naturally ‘arty’ or not, there really is something for everyone and the emphasis is all about the heart behind the art.

Connecting with the Word in this personal way helps us to dig deeper into scripture and memorise it in a way that stays with us long after the paint has dried! We truly believe that we have all been created to create and that bible journaling is simply a form of worship which points to and glorifies the ultimate Creator.

Dates for your diary – 2019

We try to meet together about once a month. If you’re interested in finding out more about a different way of studying and connecting to God’s Word then please come along. You can journal along with us or just call in for a chat and a chance to see what we’re all about!

We recently held a journaling evening looking at different watercolour techniques. Further evening dates will be posted here and also on our instagram page @_worksofheart

We were able to share some of our work with the congregation recently at our Harvest Services. Thanks to all the ladies in the group who spent time preparing notes, so others could see the thoughts behind their journaling.
